With the needs of our buyers and ultimately consumers in mind, Haluco understands that a high standard of quality throughout the entire chain is of crucial importance. We are proud that our quality and food safety policy has been awarded the highest level of certification by quality systems such as BRC (grade AA), IFS (highest level), QS, SKAL and RIK.
This high standard is thanks to Haluco’s quality control department. Not only does this important link fulfil a monitoring function, but a supporting and advisory role too. Quality starts at the source and it is therefore very important to maintain effective communication with suppliers regarding quality issues. Where necessary, we work with suppliers to improve quality. Many of our Dutch greenhouse vegetables come from growers affiliated with the Van Nature growers association. This ensures short lines of communication and enables us to offer a high standard of quality.
The products supplied are inspected at various stages. Various external quality checks are also carried out by external organisations such as KCB (Kwaliteitscontrole Bureau). Checks take place throughout the entire process from field to fork. You can therefore rely on the very highest standard of quality from Haluco!
